In December, Brooklyn duo Coasting released one monster of a debut LP called You’re Never Going Back, and it quickly became one of the most played records in my household, thanks to the ferocious drumming of Fiona Campbell and the super-charged vocal duets between her and guitarist Madison Farmer. Now here’s a video for album highlight “Same Old Same Old,” directed by visual artist Alice Cohen, and featuring surreal cut n’ paste animation that resembles Terry Gilliam’s work with Monty Python. The girls are taking off on a west coast tour in March as well, before ending up at SXSW. Check the dates below.
